Join us as a Credit Risk Analyst to assess the financial health of our clients and enable SMEs across Europe to access the financing they need to grow. You will play a key role on the Financial Risk team, ensuring the quality of our credit portfolio through data-driven credit decision-making.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Credit Risk Analyst at Qonto, you will:
• Analyze credit requests from our SME clients by reviewing financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, etc.) and assessing their creditworthiness.
• Monitor the quality of the credit portfolio to ensure risks are identified and managed proactively.
• Collaborate with the Financing team to support the launch and management of credit products.
• Leverage data tools (using SQL and Metabase) to extract insights and improve our risk monitoring capabilities.
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying patterns in manual analysis that can be automated or scaled as we grow.
🤔 What you can expect
• Team Context: You will join the Financial Risks team, acting as a bridge between traditional banking analysis and Fintech scalability.
• Methodologies: Automate and scale credit analysis processes.
• Ambition: You will contribute to our goal of becoming a bank.
• Tools: We use internal tools for credit assessment and Metabase (SQL) for data analysis.
🤝 About your future manager
Your manager will be Clément Chaperon, who brings nearly a decade of experience in the financial sector.
Starting at Bpifrance in the dealing room, he advanced to lead the financial and country risks department before joining Qonto two and a half years ago. Clément values analytical rigor and fosters a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to grow and innovate.
🏅 About You
• Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in B2B credit risk management, ideally within a bank or a fintech.
• Hard Skills: You have a solid understanding of financial analysis (corporate financial statements) and basic knowledge of SQL (sufficient to use tools like Metabase).
