- Financial Planning & Budgeting: Overseeing the complete budget cycle and rolling forecasts for designated markets or divisions; creating and maintaining advanced corporate planning and cost-allocation models.
- Internal Control & Risk Management: Leading risk assessment campaigns, implementing Minimum Control Standards (MCS), performing quality checks, and ensuring full audit readiness across GBS and international affiliates.
- Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Delivering high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, performing deep-dive variance analyses (root-cause), and supporting data governance initiatives.
- Business Partnering: Serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives (CFOs, COOs, regional heads); translating complex quantitative data into actionable business insights and strategic presentations.
- Process Optimization & Digitalization: Driving FP&A process automation using BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) to eliminate manual workflows and maximize data transparency.
- Project Management & Informal Leadership: Leading cross-border transformation projects (such as process migrations to the GBS center) and providing mentorship to junior analysts within the team.
- Professional Experience: 4–7 years in FP&A, financial controlling (independent position), external audit (Big 4 welcomed), or transaction advisory.
- Corporate Environment: Proven experience working within distributed matrix organizations and a shared services/GBS model.
- Education & Certifications: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or quantitative methods. Professional qualifications like ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are highly preferred.
- Languages: C1/C2 English proficiency for business negotiations, formal reporting, and executive presentations.
- Advanced Systems & Modeling: Expert-level MS Excel (multidimensional modeling, financial simulations). Proficiency in complex ERP systems (SAP/S/4HANA or Oracle) and EPM tools (Anaplan, Hyperion, or SAP BPC).
- Business Intelligence (BI): Developer-level data modeling in Power BI or Tableau, including data transformations and DAX/Power Query.
- Financial Standards: Deep understanding of the relationship between financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) under IFRS/US GAAP, alongside global cost allocation (chargeback) models.
- Business Acumen: Ability to tie operational, non-financial metrics directly to corporate financial outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Assertiveness and confidence in building relationships and discussing financials with executive leadership.
- Data Storytelling: Translating complex financial forecasts and conclusions into engaging, business-friendly narratives for non-financial teams.
- Lateral Leadership: Strong track record in informal leadership, mentoring junior analysts, and managing cross-border transition projects (e.g., process migrations).
