At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level QA to join our team in Brasil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview
As a Mid-Level QA, you will own the end-to-end test strategy and execution, ensuring that each release meets both functional and non-functional requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in automation and testing methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your contributions will play a significant role in driving CI&T's commitment to Collaboration, Innovation & Transformation, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to enhance testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain test plans, traceability, and entry/exit criteria.
- Write and execute automated tests, including functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
- Collaborate with teams on shared test suites, focusing on API tests in Postman and reviewing automation scripts.
- Integrate and monitor tests within CI/CD pipelines, adopting a shift-left approach.
- Coordinate with DevOps for test data and environments, managing fixtures and stubs.
- Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and assist in defect triage.
- Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Experience with Playwright/JavaScript automation framework.
- Experience with JMeter for backend automation.
- Understanding of the testing pyramid and types: Smoke, UI, API, Regression, Accessibility, etc.
- Knowledge of metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Continuous Validation pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.
- Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or above) and ability to multitask under pressure.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with JMeter for load/performance testing.
- Ability to configure initial automation projects.
Essential Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with JMeter and API testing tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in performance testing and automation project setup.
