This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive revenue and expand strategic accounts in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector. You will partner with business leaders to help them make smarter, data-driven decisions using advanced analytics platforms. The position involves managing a robust portfolio of clients, executing sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize customer value and satisfaction. You will be responsible for both prospecting new opportunities and expanding existing accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting and maintaining a high level of engagement. This role requires a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and offers the chance to grow within a fast-paced, high-growth environment while working with leading organizations.
Accountabilities
- Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting
- Serve as the primary point of contact and “quarterback” for strategic accounts
- Build credibility and trust while influencing customer buying decisions
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales Development, and Solutions Engineering teams to develop and execute negotiation strategies
- Drive conversations around new products and multi-year contracts to meet expansion quotas
- Segment and prioritize accounts to ensure focus on top opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and account updates
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop retention and expansion strategies
- Negotiate and close contracts while maximizing renewal value and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent college-level education
- 5+ years of experience selling B2B software, with focus on CPG vertical
- Experience selling to large organizations with complex account structures
- Proficiency with G-Suite applications and Salesforce or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player
- Knowledge of retail, real estate, or financial services is a plus
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time for conferences
