Full-time📈 Mid Level💰 $61,400 – $75,000🇺🇸 USA📅 Aug 28, 2026

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Advocacy & Activism Giving Coordinator based in the United States.

This is a remote, full-time opportunity within a small, globally connected campaigns and giving team focused on creating meaningful social and environmental impact.
You will help identify, evaluate, and support grassroots organizations working across human rights, animal protection, and environmental issues.
The role combines ethical giving, community engagement, communications, financial administration, and campaign coordination.
You will work closely with retail teams, creative specialists, finance, leadership, and international colleagues to turn values into tangible action.
A key part of the role is amplifying underrepresented voices and helping grassroots groups reach wider audiences through compelling storytelling and public-facing campaigns.
Success will be measured by your ability to increase public awareness, strengthen community action, support meaningful social change, and engage employees and retail teams in campaigns.
The position is ideal for an organized, values-driven activist who understands grassroots movements and can confidently navigate a diverse, fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Support US retail locations with Charity Pot inquiries, applications, events, performance results, and local giving opportunities.
    • Help retail teams identify suitable grassroots organizations and assess their ethical alignment with established giving guidelines.
    • Proactively engage locations with historically lower participation to increase involvement in community giving and product donation initiatives.
    • Review and manage US giving proposals, preparing comprehensive submissions for giving and campaign decision-making groups.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop presentation materials for new giving initiatives and support their presentation during executive alignment discussions.
    • Assist with product selection and allocation for giving programs, collaborating with product inventors, innovation teams, and international stakeholders.
    • Apply ethical giving guidelines consistently when evaluating community groups, external events, and proposed partnerships.
    • Write and publish compelling stories about grassroots organizations through internal newsletters, employee communications, websites, and other channels.
    • Develop clear, impactful copy for public-facing websites, PR teams, and in-store communications highlighting donations, campaigns, and giving milestones.
    • Collaborate with creative and artworking teams to develop and deploy in-store materials supporting new giving initiatives.
    • Maintain and update website content and create business communication packs based on approved presentations and product information.
    • Work with international teams to adapt global campaign and giving communications for different markets and audiences.
    • Manage the day-to-day administration of giving and retail events, including records, applications, decision-making documentation, and reporting.
    • Coordinate payment requests with finance teams, maintain accurate financial records, and resolve payment or information discrepancies.
    • Compile and report store event activity, product donations, and giving metrics to relevant internal teams.
    • Contribute to broader campaigns and activism initiatives as needed, supporting the wider organization's social impact objectives.
    • Requirements:

      • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading community-focused initiatives, volunteering programs, grassroots events, or comparable social impact activities, ideally within or alongside a retail environment.
      • Strong understanding of activism, grassroots organizing, and movement-building, with a genuine connection to human rights, animal protection, environmental sustainability, or related causes.
      • Proven experience working directly with diverse, multicultural, and historically marginalized communities using a respectful, non-transactional approach.
      • Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for internal communications, public websites, PR materials, and retail environments.
      • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience coordinating budgets, payment requests, databases, reporting, and operational administration.
      • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects under tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
      • Comfortable collaborating across departments with retail employees, creative teams, product and innovation specialists, finance, leadership, and international colleagues.
      • Strong ethical judgment and the ability to interpret and consistently apply guidelines when assessing organizations, events, and potential giving or campaign relationships.
      • Ability to translate global concepts into relevant local communications and collaborate effectively across international markets.
      • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess the potential long-term social impact of grassroots organizations and initiatives.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with activists, community organizations, internal employees, and senior stakeholders.
      • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
      • US-based and authorized to work in the United States without requiring company visa sponsorship.
      • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
      • Benefits:

        • Base salary range of $61,400–$75,000 USD, with the range varying according to the successful candidate's location.
        • Additional eligibility for bonus programs and total rewards beyond the stated base salary.
        • Fully remote role available to candidates based in the United States.
        • Full-time, regular employment.
        • Opportunity to work on campaigns and giving initiatives focused on environmental, human rights, animal protection, and community issues.
        • Exposure to a diverse, international team and collaboration across multiple markets.
        • Opportunity to amplify grassroots organizations and underrepresented voices through public-facing campaigns and storytelling.
        • Inclusive workplace culture that values diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
        • Meaningful opportunity to contribute to social action, public awareness, and community-led change.
        • Supportive environment for individuals passionate about activism, ethical giving, sustainability, and positive social impact.
