In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical projects related to Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position also involves leveraging virtual environments to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows, making your expertise essential for the company's success. Accountabilities
- Manage Controls integration design process and contract document review
- Act as a liaison between various stakeholders including owner's commissioning agent and subcontractors
- Assist in schedule development for all Controls start-up and commissioning activities
- Oversee material and equipment approval for Controls systems prior to installation
- Communicate project progress and represent at weekly meetings
- Supervise installation and operational verification of manufacturer's equipment
- Participate in preconstruction efforts for Controls scopes on projects
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Construction/Controls design and coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
- Experience in Mission Critical projects highly preferred
- General knowledge of construction and design principles/practices
- Thorough understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with Building and Electrical Codes relevant to construction
- Experience working with Controls subcontracts and subcontractors
