This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cloud / Network / Cybersecurity Engineer based in India.
This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity supporting secure, reliable, and high-performing technology infrastructure.
The role offers broad exposure across cloud engineering, networking, cybersecurity, DevOps, and systems administration.
You will help maintain cloud and network environments while troubleshooting complex infrastructure and connectivity issues.
You will also contribute to identity and access management, security operations, monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure automation.
The position combines hands-on technical ownership with collaboration across engineering, IT, security, and business teams.
Success will be measured through infrastructure reliability, security, performance, efficient issue resolution, and operational improvements.
The role is well suited to an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems in a distributed, remote environment.
Accountabilities
- Configure, monitor, maintain, and improve cloud and infrastructure environments, supporting technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
- Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, and security, while supporting deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and scalable technical environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network environments, including connectivity, DNS, routing, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Diagnose complex technical problems across systems, networks, cloud environments, and security layers, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Apply cybersecurity best practices, investigate potential security issues, support incident response, and help identify vulnerabilities and operational risks.
- Manage user access, permissions, authentication, and authorization while supporting onboarding, offboarding, and access changes.
- Investigate infrastructure, network, system, and security alerts, responding to incidents and escalating critical issues appropriately.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive infrastructure tasks and support automation initiatives that improve consistency and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation covering infrastructure configurations, operational processes, troubleshooting procedures, deployments, and security practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, security, and business teams on technical projects, deployments, upgrades, and operational changes.
- Take ownership of infrastructure and security issues through resolution while communicating technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, systems administration, or a related infrastructure discipline.
- Practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and/or enterprise networking technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including connectivity, DNS, routing, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, security best practices, vulnerability management, and security operations.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical, infrastructure, and connectivity issues using a structured and analytical approach.
- Understanding of identity and access management, authentication, authorization, permissions, and access controls.
- Experience monitoring infrastructure, networks, systems, or cloud environments and responding effectively to alerts and incidents.
- Strong technical documentation skills and an ability to create clear, repeatable operational processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Relevant technical certifications are a plus, particularly AWS, Azure, GCP, networking, or cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, incident response, IAM, DevOps practices, deployment workflows, or distributed and cloud-based environments is advantageous.
