Since 2005, MDCalc has been an essential part of the clinician’s workflow to help achieve better patient outcomes. Actively used by more than 65% of physicians worldwide, MDCalc is the most broadly used medical reference – at the point-of-care – for clinical decision tools and content, and one of only four references used by >50% of US HCPs. These evidence-based tools and content are used by millions of medical professionals globally and support 50+ specialties and cover 200+ patient conditions.
To continue to further accelerate this growth, we are expanding the Content team with a Content Operations Lead. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about developing and disseminating clinical tools, while also helping to build and scale a business that has unparalleled reach to clinicians.
The Content Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the clinical content team and managing both internal project needs and external partnerships to promote workflow integration of MDCalc. This role will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and coordinate activities across the content team, which ranges from clinician informaticists, editorial board members, scientific advisory board, and core content team members. In addition, the individual will engage in strategic planning.
The responsibilities of this individual include the following, but are not limited to:
Strategic Initiatives: Provide support on high-impact initiatives that expand MDCalc’s clinical content offerings, strengthen external partnerships, and drive clinician engagement on the platform.
Clinical Review: Coordinate the clinical review of content products to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and adherence to best clinical practices.

Draft and proofread letters, memos, and reports on behalf of executives (Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer). Serve as a liaison between executives and internal departments or external contacts. Manage confidential information with discretion.
External: Support engagement efforts through social media account management, podcast logistics, and other promotional activities.
Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare materials for content meetings, presentations, and conferences. Take minutes, track action items, and follow up on deliverables. Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, including catering and technology setup.
Feedback Loop: Establish feedback mechanisms with key external partners, along with internal stakeholders, to incorporate their insights and recommendations into our clinical content.
Project Support: Assist with special projects, research, and data gathering for the content team. Track deadlines and help ensure timely completion of executive priorities. Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents.
Internal Training: Develop educational resources and provide training to internal teams on clinical content and relevant medical practices.
