Role Overview
The Career Development Coach will engage with clients daily to provide personalized coaching, guidance, and accountability throughout their professional development journey. This role is highly client-facing and focuses on building tailored study plans, maintaining motivation, and supporting clients across a range of career-related topics using digital communication and collaboration tools.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients daily to provide personalized coaching and support
Create tailored study plans aligned with each client’s goals, needs, and timelines
Keep clients motivated, encouraged, and accountable throughout their learning journey
Identify and respond to client needs, adjusting coaching strategies to support progress
Provide guidance on career-related topics including Office 365 skills, project management, and general professional development concepts
Engage in value-based conversations focused on career goals, skill-building, and growth
Share insights, advice, and encouragement to help clients stay on track
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, thoughtful communication
Use RingCentral for dialer communications, follow-ups, and tracking client progress
Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding client progress and outcomes
Use tools such as Office 365, Trello, Zoom, and the company’s proprietary learning platform to manage coaching and communication
Ensure clients are comfortable using required tools for training and development
Maintain accurate client data and communication records within the learning platform
Support clients with a strong coaching mindset and passion for helping others succeed
Grow into a mentorship role over time as experience and client rapport increase
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as coaching, account management, or customer success
Experience managing client relationships and identifying evolving client needs
Exposure to career development concepts, Office 365, and project management topics
Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
Proficiency with Trello, Zoom, RingCentral, and similar collaboration tools
Technical comfort using digital platforms and learning management systems
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to motivate, engage, and build trust with clients
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
Willingness to grow into a mentorship role over time
