What you’ll do
As the Market Intelligence & Analyst Relationships Principal, you will be the strategic leader responsible for driving Pindrop’s market intelligence, competitive analysis, and analyst relations programs. You will ensure Pindrop’s AI-driven security and authentication solutions are accurately represented and positively positioned in the market, while also taking ownership of competitive intelligence and integrating AI advancements into all aspects of your work. You will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market intelligence and analyst relations strategy that aligns with Pindrop’s business objectives, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity innovation.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and synthesis of competitive intelligence, market trends, and emerging threats, leveraging advanced AI tools and methodologies to provide actionable insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with key industry analysts, influencers, and thought leaders across firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and emerging AI-focused analyst groups.
- Plan and execute analyst briefings, inquiries, and events—ensuring clear communication of Pindrop’s AI capabilities, product roadmap, and market differentiation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive teams to gather insights, prepare briefing materials, and ensure consistent, data-driven messaging.
- Track and report on analyst perception, share of voice, and inclusion in key industry evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave), with a focus on Pindrop’s AI leadership.
- Support the development of AI-focused content, including whitepapers, webinars, and thought leadership, in partnership with marketing and product teams.
- Ensure Pindrop’s analyst-facing materials and communications are optimized for generative AI search and answer engines, reflecting the latest best practices in digital visibility.
- Educate internal teams on analyst relations best practices, the evolving AI analyst landscape, and the impact of analyst insights on business outcomes.
- Stay current on the latest trends in AI, machine learning, and generative technologies, integrating these insights into analyst engagement, competitive intelligence, and corporate strategy.
- Drive the integration of AI and automation into competitive intelligence processes, including predictive analytics, threat modeling, and market forecasting.
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on synthesized market, competitive, and analyst insights, influencing product and go-to-market strategies.

Your skill-set
Must-haves:
- 12+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, analyst relations, or product marketing within a B2B technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity company.
- Demonstrated experience leading competitive intelligence and analyst relations programs, including influencing Gartner and Forrester research (e.g., MQ/Wave) through structured storytelling and strong customer evidence.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, trends, and their application in enterprise security, authentication, and threat intelligence.
- Advanced experience with AI-driven market intelligence tools, data analytics platforms, and competitive research methodologies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives for analyst and executive audiences.
- Proven project management skills; ability to manage multiple campaigns, briefings, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Analytical and detail-oriented; confident in leveraging data, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform messaging and strategy.
Nice-to-haves:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AI marketing tools, CRM, and analyst relations platforms (e.g., ARchitect, Salesforce, HubSpot, Demandbase).
- Experience optimizing content for generative AI search and answer engines (AEO/GEO).
- IIAR> certification or similar AR professional development.
- Experience supporting inclusion in major analyst evaluations (e.g., Gartner MQ, Forrester Wave).
- Experience in cybersecurity threat intelligence, risk analysis, or incident response.

- Map the analyst relations and competitive intelligence ecosystem—conduct stakeholder interviews across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive teams to understand current processes, roles, and pain points.
- Deep dive into Pindrop’s AI/voice security product portfolio and analyst coverage through demos, documentation, and research review.
- Shadow ongoing analyst briefings and events, documenting best practices and opportunities for AI-centric messaging.
- Establish relationships with key internal and external stakeholders essential to your success.
- Within 60 days, you’ll
- Lead your first analyst briefing or inquiry, preparing materials that highlight Pindrop’s AI and competitive differentiation.
Take ownership of the analyst engagement and competitive intelligence calendar, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Implement improvements in planning and tracking, with a focus on scalable, data-driven processes for AI-powered product launches and competitive analysis.
Contribute to dashboards that include analytics, market/competitor moves, and analyst sentiment in the AI and cybersecurity landscape.
- Within 90 days, you’ll
- Drive participation in a major analyst research cycle or event, ensuring Pindrop’s AI and competitive leadership is clearly communicated.
- Create new collateral and toolkits that highlight Pindrop’s competitive and compliant AI/ML advantages for analyst and internal audiences.
- Lead post-engagement analysis, documenting lessons learned and integrating analyst and competitive feedback into future strategy.
- Teach us something new—share insights that shape the next phase of AI-driven market intelligence and analyst relations at Pindrop.
